The Beat Thang: Producing Music on a Budget

By
Jason Chase

Over the years we have seen the prices of music equipment become cheaper and cheaper while products become better and better.  Once the personal computer became the main brain of the studio this changed everything.  In addition, going from analog to digital made the playing field even and gave hope to music producers who had dreams of making their own music.  Now and days you have young producers coming up using software like Fruity Loops producing hits for artist.  Who would have thought that a person sitting in the middle of America or in China could make a beat in their bedroom that could change the music world.  I think that is great for music but some people think that the cheap prices of equipment and software hurt the music.  I strongly disagree making things more affordable opened up creativity to producers who may have never would have gotten the chance to create their own music.

At one time you couldn’t get equipment like an MPC 2000 for less than $3,000.00 now things have changed because of software and products like fruity loops and The Beat Thang.  The soft synth instruments have changed the game dramatically who would have thought you can make a beat that sounds like a full fledge

Viral Marketing Examples - How to Sell Any Product

Author Unknown

I'm sure you have come across hundreds of websites or been inundated by hundreds of ads proclaiming how you can get rich on the Net.

What is the truth?

Well a very small minority (less than 1 are floundering.

Moreover the latter are losing money by falling for get rich quick schemes, hype and scams.

I must warn you, if anyone says you can quickly earn a fortune then ignore them.

So how do you find a genuine opportunity?

Use the concept of viral marketing to sell ANY product.

Ideally the product must be your 'own' product. If you don't have your own product you can attain the 'resale rights' to a digital product. This will allow you to sell it as if it was your own.

The next step to selling your product is to give away free information. Do this by producing a free ebook about your product's niche. This ebook should provide quality information and include links to your own products.

An ebook is no good unless people are reading it. Start off by submitting your free ebook to a directory. There are hundreds of directories where you can submit a free ebook. To find some do a search on 'free ebook directories' or similar.

That is a good start but the best way to get traffic to your free ebook is with your own affiliates. You allow affiliates to use their affiliate link to your product inside the ebook. This is done by 'rebranding' the ebook. Your affiliates then promote your ebook and you both make money from it.
Even better than the traffic you will get from your free ebook is to write articles. Website owners love articles much more than ebooks (yes even free ones).

Website Marketing Strategies, Discover Innovative Ways To Boost Traffic To Your Website

By ohthatwillbe1

Website Marketing Strategies should be a constantly evolving component of your total marketing campaign. If it is traffic that you want, and lots of it, your site must be search engine optimized. At the very least this is a foundational step. Without this step you would be well behind the starting gates.

If you choose a campaign that focuses primarily on search engine optimization, you may end up pulling your hair out of your head. You will continually be chasing search engine changes. In addition, you will also find yourself constantly making daily website changes in order to stay current with the search engines. As soon as you institute any changes the search engines move the goal posts. It would be like a cat chasing its tail.

Most people in the world are not Internet users. The vast majority of people who you want to reach do not have access to the World Wide Web. It does not matter how well you optimize your web site, they will never find it.

Did you know that quite a few Internet Marketers make most of their sales offline? They sell their books, CDROMs and related material at seminars, workshops and conferences. Indeed, for many Internet Marketers these offline sales represent the bulk of their income.

This tells us that offline promotion could be more important than online promotion. You may be able to optimize your web site to get high rankings in

Get Free Website Traffic With Squidoo

By Carlos Scarpero

One of the hottest sites to come out of the Web 2.0 phenomenon is Squidoo. If you are not building sites to Squidoo, you are missing one of the quickest and easiest ways to build free traffic for your website or blog.

Squidoo is a cross between a blog, a mini site, and a My Space page. Squidoo calls the sites "lenses" and the people who produce the sites are called "lensmasters."
Squidoo lenses are very easy to make, even if you have not ever built a website or blog before. You can have a lens up and running in as little as 15 minutes.
Squidoo lenses are made up of "modules". Squidoo has dozens of modules to choose from. There are modules for making lists. There are modules for You Tube videos. There are modules for Amazon and Ebay auctions. With a little knowledge of the module system, you can have your lens built in no time.

Squidoo also offers you a chance to make money from your lens. Squidoo makes its money from affiliate advertising with Google AdSense, Amazon, Ebay and several other sites. They keep track of the earnings of each module and split the profits with you 50-50. You can also donate your profits of your module to charity if you wish.

Why Not Sell Your Beats Online?

By Bill Bridges

As a music producer in the New York City area I have seen a lot of artists as well as labels and big time studio's come and go. For some people they were just done with the music business and decided to do something new while others were pushed out. I am one of the lucky ones I have been producing since the age of 15 and I am now 31 years young. Things are different from the times when albums sold 8 million copies without even trying, so what happen? I feel that the fans and the artists and in some cases the producers have been neglected.

Major record labels have been getting greedier finding new ways to rape artists and producers. How can you blame the Internet for record sales being down? As of today there are 500 million people on Facebook if only 50 million of them brought albums that is still good money. Major labels do not know how to connect with the people anymore. Let's face it the music on the radio sucks and the labels have lost control and they do not know what to do next.

there is a separation between grinding
"offline" and "online". To me it's all
grinding towards to same goal.

In fact you can use local promotion
